Christmas & New Year Posting Dates 2020

PLEASE NOTE : We are not accepting any orders for leaflets outside of the UK until further notice. This is because to Royal Mail are not currently sending international post to destinations outside of the UK because of Coronavirus. Any non-UK orders will be cancelled and refunded.

Here are the Knitting by Post posting dates for orders received over the Christmas 2020 and New Year period.  Holiday posting dates are dictated by Royal Mail post collection from the Knitting by Post warehouse in Halifax.

COVID-19 : Royal Mail are warning of extensive delays to post in the UK over the festive period. The information below has been put together using their official dates for posting. A word of warning. We are seeing delays to the UK of up to 2 weeks at the moment for post to arrive so please be patient and order early to avoid disappointment.

Orders received over the festive period will be sent out as follows :-

Monday 21st December – Normal posting. This is Royal Mail’s last day for UK post to arrive before Christmas.  All weekly subscriptions will be sent today so they arrive in time for Christmas. Subscriptions due to be sent out Friday 25th December will be sent today.

Wednesday 23rd December – Normal posting day and the last working day before Christmas Day.   Orders sent today are likely to arrive after Christmas because the last Royal Mail guaranteed posting date has passed.

Thursday 24th and Friday 25th December – No post today

Monday 28th December – Bank holiday, no post today

Tuesday 29th December – Normal posting day.  All orders from Thursday 24th Dec onward will be sent today. Subscriptions sent today as normal

Wednesday 30th December – Normal posting day

Thursday 31st December and Friday 1st January – Closed for New year – no post today

Monday 4th January – Normal posting.  All orders from 31st December onward will be sent today
