This giraffe always makes me smile as I knit it. From its long neck to its spotty little body, every part is a joy to bring together with yarn and needles.


I love how versatile this pattern is. I’ve made traditional yellow and brown giraffes, but also pink ones, blue ones—even stripey ones for fun! Each one turns out with bags of personality.


The finished giraffe is the perfect size for cuddles, and the long limbs make it great for imaginative play. Children love the floppy arms and legs, and adults adore the thoughtful gift.


It’s also a lovely project if I want to try a little colourwork without getting overwhelmed. Spot-on for adding a bit of wild style to my knitting collection!
