Extras Required : Toy stuffing

Completed Dimensions : To fit standard toilet roll sizes at 11cm tall with a 12cm diameter.  Base of Hippo to top of head 25cm approx.

Skills Used : Cast on, knit, purl, increase by knitting into the front and back of stitch, decrease by knitting two stitches together, cast off, sewing pieces together.

    Brilliant pattern for using up your bright coloured double knit.

    Knitted the Hippo Toilet Roll cover. Easy to follow instructions and the finished product looks good. Only thing that lets me down is the stuffing. I didn’t want to overstuff the head and it could have done with a little bit more but that’s more my problem and nothing to do with the pattern!
