Equipment
• 3mm single pointed needles for all pieces (No. 11 or USA size 2)
• Sewing needle
• Stitch holders & stitch markers
Materials Needed for all items
All weights are approximate as it will vary by brand of yarn. Double knitting yarn.
• Brown – 75g
• Green – 75g
• Red – 10-15g
• Yellow – 10-15g
• Pink – 40g
• Grey – 40g
• White – 25g
• Flesh – 100g
• Black – Length for eyes
• Toy stuffing
• One small button
Tension : 26sts x 33rows = 10cm x 10cm in stocking stitch using 3mm needles.
Abbreviations
k – knit
p – purl
st – stitch
st-st – stocking stitch (k1row, p1row) tog – together
Inc – increase by knitting into the front and back of the same stitch
International Glossary
Double knitting yarn = USA worsted or 8ply in Austral-ia
Stocking stitch = Stockinette stitch
Cast off = Bind off
Dimensions
Each doll character is approximately 21cm tall. Calf and Sheep are approximately 16cm tall.
